1 /5 Ron Smith: This Golden Corral earned a B (85) health score, and after eating here, I’m shocked it wasn’t lower.
According to the posted inspection, this location was cited for poor employee hygiene, improper handwashing, food safety violations, temperature control issues, dirty food-contact surfaces, and general sanitation failures — which is horrifying for a buffet. These are BASIC requirements, not minor paperwork issues.
• Employees not properly washing hands
• Food safety and contamination prevention problems
• Food not held at proper temperatures
• Dirty or poorly maintained food-contact surfaces
• Overall lack of cleanliness and management control
And guess what? You can SEE it. The dining area felt grimy, the buffet looked questionable, and several items were dried out or barely warm. If this is what they allow customers to see, I don’t want to know what’s happening in the kitchen.
A buffet lives or dies by cleanliness, and this place failed hard. The inspection report confirms what my eyes and stomach already knew — this restaurant does not take food safety seriously.
I left feeling gross and honestly concerned for anyone eating here regularly. Until this place can manage basic hygiene and food handling, I’d strongly recommend staying far away.
