Georgia Potato Factory - Jonesboro (GA)

4 /5 Lorraine: Yelped somewhere to eat near my hotel, I’m visiting from LA and I’m a foodie, so due to reviews I thought I’d try. I ordered the cheddar, broccoli, cheese and shrimp potato. The potato could be cooked a little softer, needed more seasoning on the potato. But overall it was decent.

5 /5 Williams Timeka (Meka): I’ve been to a few locations, but this by far is the best. Was greeted as soon as I walked in the door and was very helpful. Staff was very pleasant. Location was kept clean as well. I ordered the Jerk Chicken potato (it may not be on the menu but it’s available), and I’m happy I did. Very good and filling. The only reason I rated food 4/5 is because I wasn’t a fan of their chicken and fries. I ordered the honey hot wings and fries. The fries were soggy and the chicken was soft. I love my chicken fried a little harder. But the flavor was really good. Highly recommend.

3 /5 Cee_ Me_Scott: 12-05-25 8057 Tara Blvd. My husband heard about this place from a co-worker, so we decided to give it a try. We went in ordered our food, and decided to sit in a small space area in there to wait for our food. The guy that took our order didn’t realize we were inside on the opposite side of the counter that’s divided by a wall. When the food was ready the guy came to the counter, and he assumed we were in our car in the parking lot. He started waving his hand in the air looking at our car, as if he was letting us know our food was ready. Then he says “Now I know these old people see me.” After he realized we were in there when he said that he never apologized. I asked him what do you mean old people. He said he didn’t mean anything by it. In my mind the damage was already done, regardless to whether, or not he had apologized. I felt disrespected for being categorized as old people. We live about twenty five minutes away, and honestly the potatoes weren’t worth the drive. Being from Louisiana I’ve had “A-LOT” better. Only six shrimp on the shrimp, chicken, and broccoli potato($18.75). Speckled pieces of broccoli. I wish I had read the reviews on this place, instead of going there with no knowledge of anything about it. I will never go there again!! I will never recommend the place to anyone. If someone ask, or mention the place in my presence, I will most definitely tell them about our overall first, and last experience there.
