4 /5 Amanda Rominger: We had a great experience at Fox City Brewing in Forsyth. It’s located right in the historic downtown area on Kimball Road, inside one of the old downtown buildings, which is such a cool touch. The inside has tons of space with a relaxed, welcoming vibe, and it’s fun just taking in the character of the building.
The food was excellent all around. I had the fried shrimp dinner and the hush puppies were absolutely amazing. My friend ordered the shrimp tacos and loved them, and my boyfriend had the Philly cheesesteak, which was also really good. Definitely recommend the sweet potato fries. They were a standout. We also appreciated the wide variety of beers on tap, so there’s something for everyone, and finishing the meal with apple cobbler was the perfect ending.
Our waitress did have a small mix up with one of our orders, but it was corrected quickly and everything came out hot and fresh, so it didn’t take away from the experience at all. Overall, it’s a great place to hang out, eat well, and enjoy a laid back atmosphere. If you have time, walking around downtown Forsyth before or after is a nice bonus. We’ll definitely be back.
