1 /5 Chris Elliott: First, let me say that the people are super friendly here and service was good. We also had their Nachos, which I would give a 4 out of 5 stars. For entrees, my wife and I both ordered steaks, I got the 14 ounce ribeye and my wife got the New York. These steaks were the lowest quality cuts of meat that we have ever eaten and we regularly go out to steak houses. As you can see in my photo, the 14 ounce ribeye was about 6 ounces of pure fat and gristle. You can see all of the fat, gristle, and sinew in my photo and this is after I finished eating. It actually had the largest pure chunk of fat with no meat Ive ever gotten from any steak Ive ever ordered in my life - It was about the size of my palm, huge. The fat chunk was a small steak itself. What was edible was loaded with completely unchewable pieces of gristle and sinew, which you can see in a pile next to the chunk of fat. It was embarrassing to eat as I was constantly pulling these pieces out of my mouth and of putting them on my plate and other people could see that. The meat that was edible was cooked medium as I requested but somehow still tough. My wife also had a large pile of unchewable gristle from her steak, amounting to about a third of her steak. I asked for their Pittsburgh seasoning and my wife their Cajun seasoning and neither had those flavors, they just tasted like salt. The sides were average and I didnt eat much of them. We planned to have dessert, but after the entrees, decided to pass on that.
Overall, $150 for two people to have one appetizer and two steaks dinners. No drinks, no dessert, no extras. We were really disappointed in the quality of the meat, and we will not return. Any cheap chain steakhouse has far better quality than this restaurant in meat quality, tenderness and flavor, which is pretty disappointing because the chains arent very good.
