4 /5 Tero Pero: We were in the area for doctor’s appointment at Emory Hospital and decided to stop at Egg Harbor Cafe for breakfast. When we arrived, the staff seated us immediately and took our drink orders. We ordered a coffee which was served with a small carafe of cream and a cappuccino with oat milk. The coffee was hot, and the cappuccino was excellent . Then, we ordered the healthy omelette, French toast with soft scrambled eggs and a traditional breakfast which included two over medium eggs, hash-browns, maple bacon, and a short stack of pancakes. In all honesty, the food was just meh. The healthy omelette was delicious and the French toast was a bit dry. We ordered soft scrambled eggs and when they arrived they were very hard scrambled. We made the server aware and when they finally brought out the soft scrambled eggs, it was time to leave. I’m a big stickler for a very hot food when it’s supposed to be hot and the pancakes were lukewarm to almost cold; however , did have a good taste. The over medium eggs were done well, and the hash-browns were small cut up squares of potatoes with no additions. The maple bacon was a bit sweet, I missed some of salt balance. Be aware that the parking for this restaurant is located behind the restaurant . And it does have a cost if you don’t find parking on the street.
