5 /5 E. Lisa (Peachy in Georgia): Food is impeccable. Stopped in for lunch and walked out with WAY too much food.
The creamy carrot soup was absolutely amazing - I got the small container but really should have taken the larger one so I could enjoy leftovers later. I didn’t KNOW! But I will for next time.
My muffaletta sandwich was massive, stuffed with incredibly high quality meats and cheeses and the best salty and tangy olive salad.
For dessert I had the strawberry parfait with strawberry cake layers. I was a little worried it would be too much strawberry but it was perfect. The whipped cream was definitely house made and had incredible flavor and meshed so well with the tangy, fresh strawberries.
Chef Robert took great care of me and I even met the man himself, Easy B, who insisted I take a peanut butter cookie too that turned out to be one of the best I’ve eaten.
There are lots of items you can take and make - casseroles, pimento cheese and chicken salads - as well as big beautiful cakes. You can stay and eat lunch in the building if you don’t want to take your meal to go like I did.
Hidden gem, tucked away off Limestone. Don’t miss it!
