5 /5 Lisa Dreyer: We are in the middle of a weekend trip to Copperhead Lodge in Blairsville, Ga. We are so impressed with this place I had to write a review immediately. The setting is tranquil and serene. At night it is so quiet. Our Lodge room is very clean and nicely decorated. You have a separate entrance from an outside walkway with two rocking chairs under a covered porch. Your view is unbelievable! You overlook a beautiful babbling creek.
A quick walk upstairs and you are at the on property restaurant, The Flying Trout. Lunch for us was the calamari and it was some of the best we have had. It was crunchy but very tender and a yummy dipping sauce. We went back for Dinner and had the Fish and Chips with Winder fries. Again, a perfectly cooked, delicious meal. Our service for both meals was impeccably delivered. Thank you Kota!!! We sat at the bar and watched the lunch and dinner staff hustle with great enthusiasm. I cannot say enough positive things about all of them but especially Kota. I hesitate to write so many positive accolades for fear it will become constantly booked but this wonderful staff of both the lodge and restaurant deserve their due.
