City Tavern - Carrollton (GA)

2 /5 Doug Marshall: Stopped by City Tavern in Carrollton and honestly… it was just okay. The food didn’t offend me, but it sure didn’t impress me either. I had a burger with tater tots and some mozzarella sticks. The mozzarella sticks were fine — I didn’t spit them out or send them back, so I guess that’s something. I went with the pimento cheese burger. The idea of that is usually a home run — I’ve had some really solid ones before. So I came in with a little expectation… but what I got felt like the kitchen was just going through the motions. It wasn’t bad, it just didn’t have that punch or flavor you hope for. More like, "Yeah, that’s a burger," and less like, "Man, I’d come back for that." Service was okay. Not great, not bad. Just kind of… there. Like the rest of the experience. I didn’t leave mad. I didn’t leave wowed. I just left — and probably won’t be back. Not because of some terrible moment, but because there are better spots in town that give you a reason to come back. This one didn’t.

4 /5 Chris McCalla: Enjoyed it. First time going there had the house Burger. Sauce was good. Burger well cooked. The rest of our meal was really good too. And they had Guinness and that is a big bonus. You enjoy it! Give it a shot.

1 /5 Lachelle.marshall@gmail.com M5162997: This was our fitst time here and in my opinion its Crap food, with crap service. Our cheese sticks were cold to the point the cheese wasnt even melted. I got something called Richs sliders for my meal it was literally a grilled cheese with a single chicken finger in it cut into 6 little peices and they charged $12 for it. The fries were disgusting, not sure how you can mess up fries but they managed it. My suggestion would be skip this place altogether unless youre just wanting to drink. Go a few doors down to The Irish Bread Pub and get amazing food with decent portions.

5 /5 Chris Burns: My wife and I went here after the West Georgia football game last Saturday! It was soooo amazing! The buffalo chicken tots were delicious along with our burgers and Philly! Service was great as well! Will definitely be back the next time were around the area again!
