3 /5 iamtriplec: My wife and I actually had time to take lunch together due to me having to take time off for the day and she having a small opening in her very busy schedule. We decided to try Christian and Jakes Bistro since its been here for several years and we have yet to try it. Mostly due to its limited open hours. The place looks like the old Hickory House that I grew up enjoying but with a splash of paint...so I enjoyed it. The waitress was nice and prompt with the food. I love Ruebens so I decided to try their Rueben. They use Russian dressing in theirs (some places use 1000 Island). I decided to try their chili while I was there as well. My wife tried the other which was a chicken based sandwich. I dug into the chili and it had a good flavor and would solve a craving. Is it the best...not by far, but doesnt have that canned chili taste to it. Id definitely get it again. The sandwich came with chips and a pickle (no other side options). So I bit into my Rueben....it was definitely delicious! It was fresh and hot. I would most definitely get it again if I ever visited again. My wife enjoyed her sandwich as well.....until......she found a hair melted into the cheese. Unfortunately, what you see left of the sandwich is exactly what went into the trash. Due to that, we will probably never return. They are a bit on the pricier side. Additionally, they do NOT offer a military discount.

5 /5 Techie Ali: Popped in for lunch enjoyed a toasted sandwich with crisps. Great food good selection seemed popular with local workers. Good service too

3 /5 Rich Steele: I was a little disappointed today with my order. Normally my meals are very good and consistent from here. I ordered a bowl of Italian Wedding Soup. The proportion was almost equal to the cup size for a higher price. I have never had this before so I looked it up on Google. The pictures were showing vegetables and meatballs, so I thought I would try it. I had 3 tiny meat balls and hardly any vegetables. It was 90% broth. I will never order that or any soup by the bowl again. I would think that the in house bowls are probably twice the amount for dine in.
