From the moment we arrived, Kate and Tony went above and beyond to make her day truly special. The team greeted us with genuine smiles and took the time to learn a bit about Mom’s interests. We are truly grateful for the thoughtful touches that were arranged with care, all coordinated seamlessly by the staff. Our servers were attentive without being intrusive, ensuring we had everything we needed. The entire team checked in at just the right moments, creating a relaxed, joyful atmosphere. The course itself was pristine, the pace was perfect, and the scenic views created a peaceful backdrop for celebrating. Mom’s joy was infectious, and we could see how much the staff’s kindness meant to her—an experience she will remember for years to come. We left feeling not just well cared for, but truly appreciated as guests. Cateechee Golf Course didn’t just deliver a great round of golf; they delivered a celebration that honored my mom in the most thoughtful way. To anyone considering a special occasion at Cateechee, I cannot recommend them highly enough. The staff’s dedication, attention to detail, and genuine hospitality made my mother’s birthday unforgettable. Thank you for turning a simple day into a treasured memory. 1 /5 Ethan Phillips: We were on the driving range hitting some practice balls for which we had paid for, just as we have several times lately. The owner came up and questioned whether we were members in a very assuming way, then proceeds to tell us that “this is not a free range” to which I responded, “yes, we paid for it”. He began to back up quickly after this and apologized. Too little too late, his presumptuous manner was unacceptable. We will not be back, and I will recommend to everyone I can to do the same. I understand that they have probably had a problem with people abusing the course, but he could have gone about asking in a respectful way instead of being a prick. Definitely a self absorbed little man with little to no tact.

1 /5 Erica Dobbs: One-Star Review Easter Weekend Stay at Cateechee Golf Course – Disappointed and Concerned I rented all four suites at the Cateechee Golf Course lodging for Easter weekend, and I have to say, the experience was incredibly disappointing. From the very first night, things started going wrong. The entry doors didn’t work properly, and if one of our group hadn’t already been inside, we would’ve been completely locked out. None of the air conditioners worked across all four suites, and in 80-degree weather, that made for a very uncomfortable stay. To make matters worse, there was no maid service the entire weekend, no trash pickup, no fresh towels, and no linen changes. Sleeping in those conditions caused health issues for family members with asthma and allergies. It was unacceptable to go the entire weekend without the most basic accommodations and care. What made it even more frustrating was the complete lack of support. There were no after-hours staff, no posted emergency contact info, and the number we were given never got a response. I finally saw someone from the team on Sunday morning and reported everything. Later that evening, well after the report, a pro golfer (not a lodging or management staff member) stopped by, but no qualified team members ever followed up or made resolving the situation a priority. After the trip, I tried reaching out, but no one would accept or return my calls. When I finally got a response, I was told it was my fault for not reporting the problems sooner, despite there being no available way to do so. To be fair, the food and bar service were excellent. The meals were well-prepared and the staff in that area were friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, the lodging experience overshadowed everything else. For the amount I paid, this experience deserves zero stars, but since one is the lowest option available, that’s what it gets. I strongly hope the facility puts proper staffing, emergency protocols, and guest support systems in place before booking more guests.
