Branchwater - Cumming (GA)

3 /5 Phyllis Huang: Went there on 12/23/25 around 6:15 and we had to wait for the hostess to come seat us. Someone from another dinner party waiting had to go find her. When she did finally seat us, she sat us all the way in the back and wouldn’t let us choose a better table. She said all the other tables were reserved. There was one other table in the room with guests. It took almost 20 minutes for our server to come to the table. After he arrived, the service was good. He was very attentive. The portion size was very small like a lunch portion. For the prices, you expect a dinner sized portion. I don’t think I’ll be back.

2 /5 David McLaren: This was our second time dining at Branchwater. We had a great experience our first time and decided to bring some friends this time. Unfortunately the service this time was terribly slow. It was 20 minutes before the waitress appeared to take our drink order. It took our entrees at least 50 minutes to come out after we ordered them. The table across from us sat with dirty dishes on it for 45 minutes before anyone bussed the table. Overall, our dinner with a party of five took 2 hours and 15 minutes. The restaurant was not even half full, so it wasnt that they were overwhelmed with customers. After this experience, we wont be back.

5 /5 Phil Stevens: My blackened grouper with grits was good but my wifes pork chop was wonderful. Oh, and I shouldnt forget the creme brulee - amazing! The music was a little loud for such a quiet night but otherwise the ambiance was great. Our server was pleasant, didnt rush us (we had some extra time), and took care of everything we needed.

5 /5 Shari Keen: My husband and I have been coming here for years. The service is always warm and welcoming and the food is top notch. Specifically the grouper, lobster, and steak. The creme brulee for dessert is delicious! Honestly I dont know why this place doesnt have 5 stars. Its always a 5 star experience when we have been.
