5 /5 Bert Stewart: I am not a BBQ guy. I generally dont like BBQ sauce and most places kinda really on sauce too much for my taste. Well this place was fantastic I had pulled pork, brisket and a cheese sausage. None of them needed sauce all were great. Melt in your mouth good. They offer 7? Different sauces I liked every one of them. Though I would say they are all heavy on viniger and I like it that way. The brisket sauce and the mustard were my favorite of the bunch.
For sides we got Brunswick stew, pimento grits, and cornbread. I kinda want to try all of the sides now. They were all very good. But of the 3 the grits were the best I have ever had.
The atmosphere is a little rough kinda what you would expect from a side of the road BBQ place. The service was fast and friendly.
We are planning our next trip to the area so we can go back. It is that good plus the area is beautiful.
