4 /5 Angel Morton: Hello, my name is Angel I recently visited Basil’s in downtown Brunswick, and it was very easy to find. Basil’s serves Thai and sushi dishes at moderate prices, usually between $10–$20, and while you don’t have to dress up, it’s a fun place where you could. The restaurant has a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere with music from the 2015–2016 era, and it seemed to attract couples, families, and groups of friends. The staff was friendly and quick, though they do add gratuity directly to your tab. The menu is large, with appetizers like spring rolls, egg rolls, and dumplings, plus a wide selection of sushi, rice dishes, and Thai entrées. They also have desserts such as mango sticky rice, cheesecake, and key lime pie. I tried the sushi and spring rolls, which were fresh and tasty. Basil’s is open Tuesday through Saturday from 11:30 a.m.–3:00 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.–9:00 p.m., and Sundays from 12:00 p.m.–3:00 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.–10:00 p.m. Overall, I really enjoyed my visit, and I would definitely go back again. I would recommend Basil’s to anyone looking for a casual and delicious meal, and I think this review would fit well on Google or Yelp, where others could see why it’s such a great spot.
