1 /5 Mary Lynne Reed: I’ve been to this location several times and generally the treatment I’ve received from the employees has been the same (not very good) but today was the worst they’ve ever treated me so I had to leave a review. First of all, when I first walked in, there were bugs crawling across the wall by where they make the food. The restaurant in general has never seemed all too clean. I came with my dad one time who literally does restaurant and food factory inspections for the government and while he wasn’t there to work and inspect them, he did notice that there were several things that wouldn’t pass inspection. But back to the treatment the employees gave me, my experience was specifically with I think the manager, the taller guy with glasses and longish brown hair, but I could be wrong about him being the manager. Previous times that I’ve been to this specific location and other locations, I’ve gotten a kids size burrito because the regular size ones are usually too big for me to finish. Other employees have made my food before and I’ve been happy with the portions they put on it but today, this guy was making mine and put the smallest possible portions of toppings on my burrito. So I asked if he could put more on as that is what other employees have done without issue, to which he said “Did you wants a kids size or a regular?” So I said kids and he proceeded to not add anything else to it and finished wrapping it. I didn’t say anything because I didn’t want to argue or cause problems and proceeded to pay. As I was walking away from the register, I heard him say “If you wanted more, you should order a regular size, not a kids size.” I don’t know if he meant for me to hear this or not but it was very upsetting because I didn’t think I was asking for too much for a kids size. I have worked customer service before and would have been reprimanded or fired for comments like that, whether it was valid or not. I’ve also worked as a manager before and would have been pissed if my employees made such comments, especially with customers within earshot. Had he not said anything, I wouldn’t have cared or been so upset to leave this review. Even if he was having a bad day or something, that does not validate making such comments, especially when I didn’t escalate the issue or really cause any problem over it.
