Asiano - Hiawassee (GA)

1 /5 Sac Gur: This place is a masterclass in how NOT to run a restaurant If you’re looking for a culinary adventure, Asiano certainly delivers — just not in the way you’d hope. The buffalo chicken was so awful I had to double-check that it was actually chicken. The Thai curry was… well, if “disgusting” were a flavor profile, they nailed it. The fried rice was the only thing that tasted remotely edible, and even then, “decent” is being generous. And the service? Our waiter was so rude I started wondering if we accidentally walked into his living room uninvited. Every interaction felt like we were interrupting his day, which is impressive considering serving customers is literally his job. The attitude was so unprofessional it dragged the experience from “bad” to “never again.” Truly a memorable experience — but only because I’ll be warning people about it for years. Major disappointment in both food and service. Save your money. There are too many good restaurants out there to waste a night and money at this one.

3 /5 greg ernist: I’ve ate at Asianos a lot of times, and every time the food is great, but when I ordered the Mongolian beef, I was expecting a lot of meat, instead I got nearly a box full of onions. The beef and rice were good but I don’t want to pay $20+ for 70% onions. Please reduce the amount of onions and/or vegetables you put in your food, and increase what we paid for.

1 /5 TK: First time here with my wife when we were dating. I order sweet sour chicken, over an hour later we finally get our food. Go to eat my sweet n sour chicken and it was still frozen inside. So, was like ok waited awhile went through drive thru wife order some lo mein got home and it was just orange spaghetti noodles. Havent gone bacon since. To be fair this was years ago and we still agree never to go back.

2 /5 K Parker: The pan fried noodles really needs to say "crispy" pan fried noodles!!!!!!! I expected a soft noodle, such as a pan fried flat noodle. Very disappointed. When brought up I was hoping on a change to something with soft noodles, especially for over 22.00!!! That was not offered. I absolutely dislike crunchy noodles in my meal, this was a horrible experience. I paid a hefty amount and left hungry...

3 /5 En A.: 1st time in Hiawassee. We were looking for a place to eat and came across this place on the way back to the hotel. We stopped by to order to-go. Got Mongolian Beef, Pad Thai and Thai Red Curry w/ chicken plus fried rice. All of them tasted bland. Mongolian beef was full of sliced onions and a few pcs of beef swimming in sauce. Pad Thai tasted like regular lo mein, no tamarind taste, no peanuts, no lime. The curry was watery, no coconut milk taste and full of vegetables. Quite disappointed bec I was expecting authentic Chinese cooking.
