2 /5 Heather Oglesby: This was our first time at this restaurant and we are so disappointed and disheartened. As food lovers and business owners, we were expecting exceptional cuisine! What came out of this kitchen was sub-par. The cornbread was the worst we ever tasted. It was dry with no flavor at all. The meats were overcooked, dry and lacked flavor. The best part of the menu is the sides, drinks and desserts!
Our server was amazing, Sean! He was professional, listened and made great recommendations. We ended up sending the chicken entree back because it was overcooked and inedible. The shoulder tenderloin was overcooked both times and we refused to pay for it. When the manager came over, he said he spoke to the owners and they said “this is probably not your style of food, so this is not the establishment for you!”
Instead of accepting responsibility for poor quality of food preparation and execution, we were told to basically not come back. We have traveled the world for over 30 years and have experienced the best cuisine this earth has to offer. The treatment at this establishment l, by the manager, was insulting, to say the least!
What a disappointment in our new community! Shame on the owners, the managers and the chefs! Just be better and do better! Everyone can improve! You have not arrived in perfection of the culinary world!
