Robert Reyes This place was a great find. I really liked the smaller size of the restaurant, it felt cozy and comfortable, not loud or crowded. The service was excellent from start to finish and the staff was very attentive. The food was really good and came out quickly, which was a nice bonus. It wasn’t busy when we went, so everything felt relaxed and easy. No complaints at all. I would definitely come back and recommend it if you’re looking for good Mexican food with a welcoming, laid-back vibe.

Robert Heras Have been coming here since we moved to the area and it’s been amazing! The coffee is really good as are the croquettes; wife loves their burrito as well! Never had any issues either and it’s been a few months. Highly recommend checking them out! 10/10 with a chill atmosphere; a hidden gem!

Lorii Brandee This store has kind, respectful employees and delicious food. The drive-through is fast enough to suit. If you order ahead online, its incredibly fast. My order is almost always correct as well. Were blessed to have them here in Jefferson.

David Love this coffee shop! The staff is so sweet and welcoming, always has tables, and the refurbished jail feel is fun. The food is great and the bathroom is always clean. It has small porch area and thus is definitely a go-to for breakfast or lunch. Definitely recommend the Augusta BLT and the croissant bacon egg and cheese sandwich. Their cookies are from a local place right across the street and are delicious.

Suzanne White I recommend a stop here. The food was what I hoped for: delicious well seasoned fresh, not overcooked. Mashed potatoes are homemade with real potatoes. The black eyed peas were just a little firm and delicately seasoned with some herb I couldn’t quite identify. I asked for hot sauce for them but didn’t want to override their taste. I was dubious of the fried squash in little “pouches” of batter, but know what? It kept the squash hot throughout my meal and they were fresh and the batter was lightly salted = Delicious! The service was good and food was out fairly quickly given that it was fresh cooked. They offer breakfast all the time as well as blue plate lunch and burgers.

Jimmy Hunt Absolutely loved the place. The wife and I arrived 24 minutes before they opened and there was already a queue of people standing in the cold to get in as soon as the door opened. 5pm prompt, they threw open the door and started seating. Ive never seen 100 people seated and served so quickly by a waitstaff of 4, maybe 5 people. Obviously, the buffet service eases the load on the waitstaff, but its still impressive. Food is classically southern and wonderfully prepared. The seafood is excellent and there is a nice selection of non-seafood items on the buffet as well as on the Ala Cart menu. This was a top concern for us because my wife does not eat seafood in any form. She loved it, and so did I. Well worth the trip.

Wendy Martinez Got the menudo today with a pineapple drink and its rare to find a good soup I enjoyed it very well. 2nd time going and this is definitely a spot I would be going to every weekend. So far havent been disappointed. Oh and there chicken tamales are so good too. Go check it out and get your experience it will be worth it.

Stephanie Harman So good! The food is amazingly delicious with great prices. My giant bagel sandwich was 7 bucks! I loved sitting in and enjoying the music and fun staff. Also my vanilla Chai and the dark roast coffee for my husband were top notch. Im getting a second chai to go!

Same great service each time and amazingly hot food. My super picky 14yo will ONLY eat Chinese food from here and trust me when I say that I’ve tried to trick her. mai johnston This was a clean and friendly store with excellent food. The chicken was hot, flavorful and lightly battered. The potatoes were properly seasoned and had an amazing taste. Try it if you get a chance. Just went today as I was near again; still great food with friendly upbeat service. It is now April and I had the chance to stop by Champs again. The chicken was amazing (you need to try!! Much better than KFC). The chicken was hot, tender and moist. The tender meal is huge and the sides are great , too. I will be stopping here again !!

Andrew Vu My wife and I have been living in jefferson for 10 years now and I cant believe we never knew about this place until recently! First off I must say, weve driven by here hundreds of times and never knew it was even here since it is in a tiny little corner inside of a gas station. One would probably not think anything of it but let me tell you, this place is an absolute hidden gem! My wife and I decided to get the sausage egg and cheese biscuit. To my surprise, our biscuits were made lightning fast and handed to us in under 60 seconds. When we opened the wrapper, we were astonished to see that the biscuits were absolutely massive! Not only were the biscuits fresh and super warm, but they were so soft and perfectly buttered. You want to know the crazy thing about the biscuits? They were barely over $5 each! That is a phenomenal price for what youre getting!!! They have quite a few other things on their menu as well which we will definitely be back to try. I sure hope this review helps others to go and give this place a try. Im sure there are probably quite a few other families out there that may not have any idea this place exists.
