Abigail Carlson My husband and his sister has been dealing with Mr. Hatfield for years, attempting to resolve a simple accident litigation - on behalf of his deceased father. The firm continues to lead the grieving family on, week to week, with promises of solutions and payouts. My husband is too nice, and will not put a stop to the ridiculous call dodging, empty promises, and endless rescheduling. However, I have no problem putting this out for the world to see to hopefully save someone else’s much valued time and energy! Update: 4 months later, still no progress on this case. We haven’t heard from Mr. Hatfield since the original review - the exception of the call my husband received from Mr.Hatfield asking to take this post down 4 months ago.

Nina Lloyd Mr. Spearman might be a very good attorney, I don’t know, but his receptionist (or maybe his paralegal) is the most unprofessional person! He doesn’t not need her answering his phone and representing him. He might not care that she is rude and treats people with disrespect. People who are entitled to behave that way, usually do so because they don’t have the vocabulary or self control to know how to deal with people on a professional level.

I sat in county for over 18months to finally 1day out the blue w/o even talking 2me or investigating they pull me 4court where he didnt care abt me or my situation & pretty much told me 2 plead guilty & I got 10yeats felony probation & 1year of rehab on tip of the 18months I did for a crime I didnt even commit, for a crime that wasnt even committed, for a crime where charges were tried to be dropped. Worst lawyer ever now Im pretty much screwed & lost all my gun & voting rights.

My advice to anyone whose family member has been court appointed to be defended by this "guy" seek another lawyer asap! This guy will NOT defend your family member properly! And is so rude and wont even listen to anything you are trying to say to him! He gets his jollies by trying to belittle people who call to talk to him! Hes a disgrace to lawyers everywhere and absolutely should be disbarred! He flat out told me that he would NOT defend my son! Even though he was court appointed to do so! Even though I bit my tongue, and tried to still be respectful as he was being rude to me on the phone!
