Still to this day after leaving waynesboro I call an the preacher calls me an my husband. He still my preacher an I miss that closeness. Always took home from the service those days knowing a better life was ahead. Husband even was baptized there.

He is interesting, funny and teaches enlightening hard core Bible Precepts every week that you can use in your daily life. He and his wife are a down to earth , non judgemental team that love and care deeply for their congregation. The church is growing and has active members; all ages, infants through seniors which shows its consistent love for Jesus in a world of dying churches. I love the fact that the church sings the old lively gospel hymns that my Great Grandparents sang in the same pews but also has a new generation of those moving in to Burke County and a splash of Plant Fogtle transplants. I think its unique and cool that every one and every generic group is welcome and you can wear jeans or a fancy dress and hat! We always have something exciting happening from a senior outing, a bible study, a kids event, a gospel group, a mens fellowship or just an old fashion dinner after church. Yum! Try us, you wont be sorry!

RJ Hewitt We are new to the area and so thankful to be led to this place of worship. Pastor Mike Dann is a preacher/teacher of the truth of the Word of God. His boldness to speak Gods truth with the correct world view, to speak to the current issues of the day from the pulpit, as well as a transparency of his own life struggles/victories and the goodness of God with both humor and tears, has been so refreshing! This church has an active childrens ministry, Sunday School, AWANA and VBS. The body of believers have a "Love God and love people" attitude here. They are active in sharing the Gospel and seeing souls saved thru Jesus. Come visit and see for yourselves!

Ellie Hessek This is our little country church. Its small, and we may have only 40 people there on any given Sunday - although everyone is welcome - but you wont find another church filled with more love than this one. Our Pastor, Jerry Sharpe, delivers the message in a heartfelt way that everyone can understand without deviating from the Scripture. Its a "come as you are", no pressure church. Jeans and flip-flips are fine. Were there for the love of the Lord.
