Myth Grandchildren attended summer camp here and really enjoyed it. Received T-shirts and worked on really cool, age appropriate projects. Attended the same summer camp last year and never had a complaint. They did have to bring their own lunch and snacks and drinks, though. I thought that it should have been provided, considering the cost.

They host many activities for children which is always welcome. One of our favorite things they host is the annual meet and greet with the Decatur Police Department.

M Bailey I believe that churches are best known by the ministries they offer. Decatur Presbyterian offers a ministry called Threshold that offers assistance to help people who are either homeless and/or struggling to keep from becoming homeless. I received assistance from Threshold for the first time last week and was greeted-on a very cold and rainy morning with coffee and breakfast from McDonalds. Everyone was very warm, friendly and patient. I needed help with my phone bill and Leslie gave me a phone card. Now I can start taking care of my business. They provided me with a list of services that provide assistance in the area. Threshold is helping me get back on track. This is truly a Christian organization. Thank you for your support!

Ron W DPC is one of the most loving and accepting churches I have ever attended. Its an environment that encourages everyone to love God, worship and serve him faithfully while loving and caring for the diverse community around us. Teresa Billingsley If not for COVID-19 I may not have been exposed to this ministry. I thoroughly enjoy the streaming services and relate totally to the teachings. They teach and live the same message that the historical Jesus reportedly taught and lived. I had the opportunity to attend the Conference in October 2024 and was completely blown away by the love of Christ in demonstration. A total acceptance without judgement for all humanity: a true walk of love. My prayer is that the religious organizations in my community would follow suit and portray the Christ nature in both words and deeds. Peace Is Possible.

However, I’ve been listening and viewing the services since the start of January of 2022 and this church teaches every single truth that I’ve always known but never have found a church or other believers who see the same. The next time I’m in ATL, I’m going to visit. I love the worship I’ve seen but for me, most importantly, it’s the messages that are coming forth.

Royale K. O “K. O” Ive never been inside the actual church but they do have a small food pantry that is easily accessible from the street. A refrigerator (that could use a fixing) with food and some female personal items to take as you please. Im grateful for the items though I have to say be mindful that some of the items have reached their expiration and arent labeled properly. I found out the hard way. Still a big thank you to the folks doing a good work in the community.

David Lamb I grew up at Glenn. My parents took me here when I was little and I became active in the Youth Group and Choir when I was a little older. I have long since moved out and currently live in Boston. Everytime I am back in town, I visit and am immediately surrounded by some of the kindest people I have ever known, many of whom have known me since birth. I have tried to find other communities since, but notmne have met the Glenn standard. Glenn fosters family in a way that is hard to find. If you are searching for a caring, loving and welcoming place, go for a visit. Also...its pretty to see anyways.

Megan King It feels [unfortunately] rare to find such a church as The River at Valley Brook, and Im SO grateful for it! We have two wonderful pastors who preach and explore Gods word with humility, a genuine and tender care, and passion. We have a number of families with children of all ages, an amazing kids ministry, Bible study groups, and such a joyful pure-hearted congregation. If you visit, you will be greeted not not overwhelmed, you wont be made to stand up and announce yourself or fill out a card... youll just be loved on and invited back. This church is changing lives in the community and its a blessing and honor to be a part.

With Pastor Adunyame or Pastor Babalola you are gonna get a wholesome message and when I tell you these people are full of liveliness and energy!(I got a few videos so yall can see the atmosphere) I invite anyone that wants to come to give this church a chance. (Message me for details) They love getting new visitors. The hospitality crew is generous and loving. People arent afraid to get on there knees and pray during service or dance when theyre happy. I was drawn there during the christmas break it was amazing to be back in the company where my foundation was created. I dont care for big churches where you are counted as a number! This is a very small intimate church where youre welcomed to celebrate Jesus and all that he has done for us. Our Pastor Victor C Speakman who Ive known since a baby is a great teacher and is doing great things following in his Fathers footsteps. I enjoyed Sunday school, Bible study and Sunday fellowship.
