I’ve used them for maintaining a number of domestic and import vehicles and they’ve been able to handle them all. David Williams If I could give a negative 10 I would because they never kept me updated on my repair and it took 4 weeks. Two weeks more beyond being told it was being put back together and if it needed anything I would be called but yet I had to call two days later to get update. Then after pickup I saw my front wheels were damaged and they lied and said to fix the front bumper they didn’t have to take the wheels off. I went to the shop to see what they would do for the damage to the wheels and they all lied and said they didn’t do it. Volvo dealer is only one that has taken wheels off and I have washed my car numerous times so “NO” Volvo didn’t damage them McVeighs did and the denied. Having 2 other vehicles repaired and being mostly satisfied the denial definitely has changed my mind. I do not recommend them for repairs because if they do damage to your vehicle they will not be honest about it.

Ive had my vehicle repaired here twice on the advice of my insurance company, and now I can understand why...Do better for the next person because you have lost my business for being untruthful.

Django Brannen After a fender bender, I took my Nissan pickup to The Body Shop of Waycross. The service was prompt and well done. The staff was courteous and helpful, even when my insurance company was less than helpful. They assured me that they dealt with insurance companies all the time, and got things squared away with them. I hope nobody at my house has anymore accidents, but if we do, I wouldn’t think of going anywhere else.

James Baldwin I had an employee destroy the paint one of my classic motorcycle gas tanks and took it to them knowing they could not get it back into factory condition due to some painted strips. He even told me that it would not be the same when I dropped it off. Well they knocked it out of the park and you can not tell its ever been repainted. Thanks for the great job!

william smith Super nice and friendly down to earth staff I work for a boat dealership out of Myrtle Beach South Carolina and upon picking up a boat from the factory I pulled in noticing that I have a low tire the man not only put air in my tire but checked all the rest for me I tried to pay him he would not accept my money but went on to tell me to have a wonderful and safe trip still refusing to take my money so I feel it was only right to leave them an extra extra special thank you and judging by the work that I seen them doing while I was waiting for my tire to be aired up it looks like the type of place you really want to take your car for all your body work needs!! John Sweat I recently had some electrical problems with my motorhome which I could not figure out. I called Freds about getting a time to come in and the young lady told me that they would have room for me the next day. I was there when they opened. I really expected that I would need to leave my motorhome for the repairs. But right away I was assigned a young tech, (Anthony) and he began troubleshooting and in less that an hour was finished. I asked how much I owed and the owner said we really did not do anything much so he did not want to charge me anything. I asked if I could compensate Anthony and he said that would be fine if I wanted to do that. These folks treated me with honesty and respect and I highly recommend them if you are in the area and need service work. They are just good, honest, hardworking people and it is good to find there are these kind of folks in the RV repair business.

Michael Hillyer They were able to fit me in quickly and get my furnace repaired in no time. I came back a second time and they properly diagnosed an electrical short in 15 minutes, after i spent probably 15 hours and 3 other shops unsuccessfully diagnosing it. Highly recommend!

Not these guys, they didn’t even hesitate and even thought I was crazy for asking if they could work on it. They saw what others thought was a challenge and didn’t blink an eye at it. Lee Christian “crissy” This shop is crooked. I paid them over $4000 to replace my transmission In November 2024. They told me they would put a new transmission in my vehicle. Have a 18 month warranty. On June 10 2026 it started slipping again So the morning of June 11, I took it to the shop. That was not there that day so the owner Carl Moore took care of my issues. They checked my mileage and the codes that my vehicle was throwing and said I indeed needed a new transmission. They informed me that they would call American transmission and try to order me a new one, but American transmission to their shop to replace it. I waited two weeks and had not heard anything back, but assume my transmission was on the way. Finally, on June 25, I called them back because it had been exactly 2 weeks and I have not heard anything. At that time they informed me That they had forgotten to call American transmissions and they also forgot what my mileage was and what my codes were could I please bring a vehicle back to them. Even though this was an inconvenience, I obliged and promptly headed to the shop. They scanned my vehicle again, but then told me there was nothing they could do. My mileage was 114 miles over the warranties covered miles. When I brought up to them that they were supposed to order the transmission two weeks ago, Carl Moore, who is the owner yelled at me and told me that it was my fault because I had continued to drive it. I will be taking them to court.

Rob Mitchell I dont say this about many businesses but the folks at Gradys honestly made us feel like family, they didnt just fix a beater for us that wouldnt make it past the state line without them but they made sure it made it clear to Connecticut. While they were fixing it doing top of the line work they charged us rock bottom prices to look out for a young newlywed couple. I would recommend Gradys to anyone looking to fix their vehicles, it may take a little while to get it in (theyre always constantly busy it seems, good work is always in high demand) but definitely worth the wait. If I could give them 10 stars I would.

Christopher Long I’m from Kentucky working on an engineering project in Waycross. The ball joint on my truck sheared off, leaving me stranded. Local towing company recommended Grady’s. Dropped off first thing Monday morning, not knowing what to expect. Did I mention I needed the truck to drive two hours Friday to Savannah to catch a flight?! Not only did the guys get my truck in (with a lot full of cars waiting) but had it fixed and good-as-new by Wednesday!! And the price was so good I was shocked. They checked the rest of the front end of my Chevy, recommended a couple things that could wait, and got me back on the road. Don’t expect some fancy waiting room with a Keurig, just down-to-earth honest folks doing good work. THANK YOU GRADY’S!!!!

fitt 40 Trucker Customer service is ok, but the work is poor. After i took my truck to get work done, they forgot to tighten the bolts on my exhaust pipe had my check engine light on. Donna S They not only didnt fix the original problem but created an oil leak that almost blew up the motor. Three visits and almost $500 later it was a horrifying experience that I would not wish on my worst enemy. Even after the owner promised he would fix it all he did was make the oil leak stop. And my husband told him he didnt want the other guy back in his truck and whenever I went to pick it up he met us on the road driving our truck in an unsafe way. Never again

Jennifer Dyer The experience has been horrible from the beginning but, since I became involved and start asking for receipts, checks and balances it has become WORSE. My fiance has dealt with him on several occasions and because they were chummy Im guessing he felt as though he was trustworthy....NOT. He has paid him money in cash that he will then turn around and say he never received until you provide him the text message showing he did in fact receive money. The most recent incident was he picked up the vehicle and towed it as it had been in an accident, he then advised that he would hold on to the vehicle free of charge as it was not a vehicle that was driven on the regular it was more of a show car and advised that the cost of the repair would be $4500 when we were ready to fix mind you this is all thru text. Months even a year has gone by and I start texting him 6/21/2020 letting him know we were ready to repair, and if he could provide me a detailed estimate 9 days went by sent another message 7/1/2020 received a reply of $6500. I then send him another text 7/22/2020 as he doesnt answer when you call and ask him about the estimate again and if he wasnt going to be able to get the work done let me know and we will scheduled to pick up the vehicle no reply. I then send another text 7/27/2020 advising I never received a response and he then responds with if I dont want him to do the repair in order to get the car back I had to pay $20/day for storage. I still have not received an estimate so then I send another text on 8/7/2020 again asking for something in writing on 8/8/2020 I receive a response thru text with the portion that shows the date he picked up the car but fails to send the part of the message where he advised of keeping the car at no charge. Proceeded with payment methods to that is till not a formally written document which is considered to be an estimate. We live in 5 hours away so its not like we can drive and there easily. My issue with the whole situation is your business practices, in the event you were charging storage something should have been written up and signed and you should be able to provide estimates to your customer so they will know what they are being charged. A text message is not suffice. I dont conduct business that way. You mean to tell me you were initially charging storage but not once contact the individual that hasnt paid on their storage fee and over a year has gone by and were is the documented paperwork. His business practice is unethical and not acceptable. He is unresponsive and he price gauges people and in my opinion the work is not of the best quality, it looks good in the moment however its not long lasting. I would never recommend using his services not because of the quality of his work but because of the way he handles business.
