Jerry Christian My wife and I were finally getting a week off from caring for a 95 year old mother and we were on our way from Florida to North Carolina to visit our son. Fortunately for us we were in the Brunswick, GA area when we got a check engine light and loss of power on our diesel pusher motorhome. We pulled into a parking lot to investigate and once we turned the engine off we were not able to start it again. Searching for a mobile repair on a Friday morning I found Medlocks and immediately called them to find out the mobile mechanic was out sick but the ladies behind the counter said they would get to me somehow. Mid afternoon on Friday Michael, one of the owners, came out in freezing weather. After brief analysis he found out the fuel pressure was 1000s of lbs low but got it running well enough to get it back to their shop around 3 pm. We were really getting worried that we wouldn’t get fixed by closing and of course they didn’t work on the weekend. We were going to have to cancel our whole trip if we couldn’t get back on the road but we didnt tell Michael that. Everyone was reassuring and Michael hooked up to the on-board computer and while I drove he was able to see that the problem was the fuel pressure dropping under load. We went back to the shop and they put a new set of fuel filters on and we drove again and the problem was gone. These guys are the real deal and first class when it comes to customer service. They could have easily told me that it was a major problem and wouldn’t be able to get to it until Monday and charged me a large amount but they didn’t. Instead for a very reasonable price, we were pulling out of the shop right at 5 pm Friday evening headed for our son’s. I can’t say enough good things about Michael and the entire staff at Medlock’s as they are one of the most honest and customer caring businesses I have ever dealt with. If you’re ever in the Brunswick Ga area and need diesel work, Medlock’s should be your # 1 choice

John Robert The leaf springs on our travel trailer snapped while on I-95 luckily not far from Medlocks shop.They got new ones installed and got us back on the road by closing time. Precias ManCave So my family and I was otw for Columbia SC to Davenport Fl. I hear noise and begin to lose all power to my vehicle. Closes exit 4 mi away which was Brunswick! It a family of 7 (5 being our kids) couldn’t find a place to work on it due to bolt being snapped into the engine. Got it towed to a shop And the face me a guy named John to speak with, not knowing his skills he can highly regarded from a different shop! w/i 36 hrs our SUV was fixed! Marc A Outar The ONLY mechanic open late and on weekends. Fixed my rust ridden truck and now its better than when I brought it in. Fixed everything from calipers to brake lines and master cylinder at a decent price. Communicated with me during the whole process to solve all the issues. Cant ask for more. Valerie Johnson I was in a situation where I took my 3008 Equinox to a repair shop and was told I needed a fuel tank however the part was discontinued and I would have to go through a junkyard to get the part. I was not able to go there and remove a gas tank from a vehicle in a junkyard. I ordered one from online and it arrived damaged. That really frustrated me because I needed a part that’s discontinued. When I tell you God is so good. He sent an angel to my rescue. Synder Automotive checked my car and found I didn’t need a gas tank. Mr. Synder found there was a broken sensor and fuel pump leak. He replaced both and got my car back on the road. He has gained a customer because he was fast, knowledgeable, friendly, economical, communicative and most of all got the job done. I will most definitely recommend him to anyone that is in need of a good mechanic.

James Baldwin I had an employee destroy the paint one of my classic motorcycle gas tanks and took it to them knowing they could not get it back into factory condition due to some painted strips. He even told me that it would not be the same when I dropped it off. Well they knocked it out of the park and you can not tell its ever been repainted. Thanks for the great job!

Phil Waltrip My regular mechanic told me I should just replace my transmission. Cost would be over 1500. Jeff asked me what was wrong and I told him possibly a solenoid. He said maybe between 5 or 7 hundred to fix depending on the cost of the part. He called me the next day and said it would be ready in a few days and cost was 52 7.00 Its running great. THANKS JEFF

Shelby Saldivar Wow! Absolutely great service! He had our tires done very quickly and the price was a bargain. We needed four RV 16 ply tires to be installed in an emergency. One tire shop said they couldn’t do it because the tires were too big, and we got rejected by a commercial tire shop because the tires were too small. These guys had no problem doing it and had them all done in a few hours. Would highly recommend these guys for any of your RV tire needs. We had a wonderful experience, hopefully you guys do too. He sent pictures showing the correct size he had before even showing up. He changed the tire in very little time. We were back on the road in very little time. Jacob Spencer Dont waste your time for this scam artist. Only good thing about this business, are the ladies in the office. Brought vehicle in to have electrical issues figured out. Charged me half an hour rate for electrical troubleshooting for me to find out the issue was blown fuses. It doesnt take 30 minutes for a "skilled" mechanic to figure that out, so what was I charged for? Cant necessarily speak on his other work just beware of the shop taking your money and not finding the problem

Darlene Have been going to them for over 10 years. They have always been honest and upfront about cost and repairs. They dont fix anything you didnt ask them to fix to try to get extra money. If they see other more pressing issues, they will call you and let you know. If the issues arent pressing, they will list them for you to fix down the line. Either way, they wont make a move until they hear from you. I LOVE that! This is also a generational family business. Cant get any better than that.
