Alechia Jadwin If I could leave no stars, I would. This company is the biggest joke Ive ever come across in my life, from the way they talk to people and respond to bad reviews because they cant or dont know how to do their jobs properly. I called this company to replace a starter on my sons truck. And I was told to send a text message, which was the first thing that kinda caught me off guard. They dont talk to you on the phone. They want everything done through text message, but needless to say. I bought and supplied the starter. After Travis came out and replaced the starter, he proceeded to tell me that it still wasnt starting and we now needed a starter Ignition switch. So I approved for the repairs to be done for the ignition switch, and Travis came back out to replace said switch but again, Travis said it still wont start. And nows hes not sure why. He stated that he followed a wire from the starter to the ignition switch, but once the wire became taped up with several other wires, he didnt want to go any further. And proceeds to leave. Leaving both the new starter and the old starter in the front seat and didnt come back to try to rectify the issue at all when I asked him when he could come back out. I kept getting told it would be a week or so before he could get back out to me. So after two weeks I told him not to worry about coming back out, I would find another mechanic to finish the job. Well it turns out that Travis Head broke the plastic wire connector on the starter to where the wire wont even stay connected to the starter. And he not only did this on the old one, but he did it on the new one as well. Along with frying nine fuses, and frying my sons ECM. So not only am I out the almost $200 for the first starter, but $460 for Travis to come out and put it on which he didnt do. And now I have to replace a $450 ECM, buy aonther starter to have put on plus 9 fuses. This company and its mechanic is a joke. They have poor communication skills, and I honestly dont believe they know anything about car repairs other than your basic skills like changing oil or changing brake pads. Not once, have they reached out and tried to offer me any kind of a refund or even any an explanation. I was left with I dont know what the problem is. And two starters sitting in my front seat and Im out over a thousand dollars after I pay for these repairs again. I dont do very many reviews, but when you have search poor work done that you pay your hard earned money for. I couldnt not warn others about this company and its shady work. If you value your vehicle, dont use them, take it somewhere that has a reputable business. Ask people, you know, for references to reputable mechanics, because this is not a reputable mechanic, unless youre having basic work done.

Amanda Michelle Jones Red Dawg Mobile handled my car promptly and with excellent customer service! I would tell anyone I know! I will be a repeat customer for years to come! Thank you so much for making sure my Malibu was in dealership shape once they were done installing my battery! It runs like new! Thank you so much!

Mike Travis is great! He is a nice mechanic and does good work. However, the administration is not great. After paying for one job that was not completed, I was charged for finishing it later. It was an unpleasant surprise to pay $800 for parts and labor and then be charged another $125 to just finish the job I already paid for in the $800 charge. I understand paying for work, but not being notified that it would cost more to finish the job I paid for made me feel blindsided.
I called to ask about the charge and was told I was lucky for them even coming out. At this point I did not understand the hostility because they were late coming out to finish the work on the car by 2 weeks. I was not unpleasant and tried to be as accommodating as possible to their schedule. I also really appreciated Travis work so I wanted to pay him something, but not $125 for work I paid for before hand. Anyway, the office coordinator reduced the charge by $25, which I appreciated, but I still feel like communication was poor all the way around.
In short - by all means use Travis! Hes great! However, just ask about all the charges up front, especially if they need to come back.
