1 /5 Pretty Pressure Ent: W. Scott Smith was hired to represent a family member who was facing charges as a first-time offender and has no prior criminal history.
Unfortunately, the representation fell short of expectations. The 5-star ratings on here fail to reflect the Scott Smith that represented my family. His demeanor was unprofessional; he exhibited rudeness, arrogance, and a confrontational attitude, often disregarding the clients concerns and refusing to issue a refund despite being overcompensated for inadequate services. After receiving more than half of the agreed upon fee, he failed to fulfill his obligations, and his interactions with the clients family were disrespectful including derogatory comments about their understanding of the legal process. During court proceedings, he appeared to be unprepared and tried to pressure the client into accepting a plea deal without reviewing the full discovery of evidence. Following the termination of his services, he continued to demand payment for the remaining balance, despite not completing the case. I strongly advise against hiring Scott Smith for any criminal matters, as his focus seemed to be on financial gain rather than providing competent legal support, and his claims of wealth only underscore his lack of empathy for those less fortunate. I have written a formal complaint to the Georgia board on behalf of my family member. I am writing this review because I do not want to see anyone else hard earned money get taken by this Attorney.
