After all, everyone needs $, but I had 3 items that I was looking to sell, and the offers I got from Valdosta Pawn were downright insulting. As someone who has dealt with his fair share of pawnbrokers, Im well aware that most places wont offer more than 20% of the lowest SOLD price on ebay and the like. Even taking that into account, they turned down 2 items outright (thats fine, its their prerogative), but offered me $500 for a $3400 item ($5k brand new). Desperation can cause us all to do things we wouldnt normally do, and while I was in a pretty desperate way, Im not going to allow this business to take advantage of me, and neither should you. Ill let some individual take advantage of my desperation. At least then Ill feel better about it.
