Truist - LaGrange (GA)

1 /5 Christopher Stone: Lovely place to do business…NOT! I’m don’t bank with these crooks, but just so happens that I received a check from someone that banks with them. So I went to a truist bank with a truist check that was legal as it can get and the place charged me $8 to cash it. Nothing but a junk fee! They’re the worst bank I have ever seen. I thought suntrust and bb&t were ; now that they have combined forces it’s beyond horrible!

1 /5 Janette Hart: I leave message after message begging for the courtesy of a returned call, explaining that I’ve already spoken with overseas customer service who stated they were unable to help and put in a request for my money to be refunded, which of course was refused. BUT-that’s not the help I requested, I asked them to investigate a Zelle money transfer that didn’t make it to the recipient and never came back to me! It was a significant amount and I simply wanted them to help determine through banking channels where the money is-since I don’t have it and it never made it to the intended recipient! I’ve yet to hear a word back, and since I’m visually impaired I cannot show up in person at the bank! Don’t start banking here if you’re reading these reviews! They’re a bank that doesn’t care-especially about the ‘little guy’.

1 /5 Neil Sherman: They processed my loan payoff over a week late so it processed the following month and my account accrued another interest payment of $115 AFTER I paid over $8k to clear the loan in the month of December. Never enough tellers available, unprofessional attitudes, 0/5 stars. I’m just happy to be done with having to come in here.

5 /5 Michelle Schultz: When we bought our business we were told at another local bank it would be an easy transition for the account to change owners. Long story short, the other bank changed requirements 3 times (and each time we had to contact the lawyer who handled our closing... And he was slow). We were desperate because payroll was about to come due and we needed a bank set up for our payroll to come out of! We showed up on a Saturday at Truist and THEY made it happen. Since then, weve had a great experience so far. The worst thing about this bank is it often has long lines.
