2 /5 Kevin Eaton: Tony was appointed as my public defender and from start to finish ever aspect of my case made me feel like the lowest of his priorities. I had to sit in jail for a month because he failed to show up on my court date. I called him every day at the same time for 2 weeks and his receptionist only picked up 4-5 times, each time she readily assured me that he was out of the office or unavailable and she would check with him about my case but never had any news and never seemed to have any recollection of who I was or any details about my situation. When he finally did show up to court he would brush off my questions telling me "ill answer all your questions after your appearance (before the judge)" and as soon as id signed all the places he told me to and seen the judge he turned around and walked out. Even if you decide to pay this man to take your case be very sure youre getting your moneys worth. I pity anyone who has Tony Calhoun as their public defender because they wont get the attention they deserve.
