    Sidney: If you are a female, I highly discourage this firm. Especially Andrew S. Johnson. To file an eviction they were going to charge me $1500, so I did it myself, for maybe $50. I did not need a lawyer but I wanted one since it was against family. He was quick and vague with questions about the situation and simply stated “I know what I need to do”. I couldn’t find another lawyer so this is the best I could get. He arrived in court to never negotiate to the judge about my case. Instead he pulled the family member aside and asked what they wanted and that’s it. I told him if I had to pay I’d like payments split up but he never tried to negotiate that either. He knew I had the money to pay them and took it as an easy win on his part because he knew how nervous I was about the going against family. The family member already had 90 days to be evicted from the property and he got them an extra 60 instead of negotiating with the judge as he should have. I practically paid him $1500 to accept the deal my tenant had already offered me and give them 60 more days to move out. Losing me thousands of dollars and time. Ladies, find a caring female lawyer to help you out. That lawyer is here to take advantage of you and earn an easy pay day. Or don’t be scared and let them take advantage of you, that’s one thing I regret. Another odd tidbit, right after the decision had been made in court he then started to ask me very detailed specific questions. Things he should’ve known before the case and could have leveraged to the judge. Anyway, odd behavior. He knew he wasn’t going to try and make me accept the deal that was already offered. If he knew my case had no chance of being argued then he shouldn’t have taken that case.

    Ray J: Katie Bates ruined my whole custody case that was filed against me from a bitter ex from a long winded past mistake. The past mistake was a ex I eventually had 2 kids by who has always been jealous of me and in competition with me. Long story short, she never heard my side out, told me “I would rather have a toxic baby father than no baby father at all” . When he cries out for attention she tells me “think of him as a Disney dad” . Katie Bates signed documents behind my back that I was never aware of, when I sat down to talk to her she told me “I’m just mad because of my pregnancy hormones” which was not true (yes I was pregnant at the time) . She will make you seem like she knows where you are coming from just to become your attorney and then do absolutely nothing but go on vacation and will never respond to your emails or get back to you until weeks if not a whole month later. Continuously talks about her Ex and her experience to make it seem like it’s a common thing and takes over the whole conversation to barely let you say a word. Katie Bates did absolutely nothing besides say she was representing me just to not represent me while charging me for every phone call and email when asking about things of my case that they should have been reaching out to me about anyways. The opposing party was in contempt numerous of times and when I made it aware and wanted to file for contempt every time I tried she never filled the motion and kept saying it’s just a temporary order. But every time the opposing party told stories they made me showed proof, when the opposing party can just say anything. He filed 2 false CPS reports on me to start the case, got my own son to call the police on me (when my son was tearing up my house and refused to listen to me) told stories to child support, told stories to the judge, basically a whole case built off of LIES! When I thought court was about the truth and proof. Yet I’m still going thru this same case going on 2yrs, my new counsel has to play catch up, and I’m now in debt for still trying to prove my defense that is finally get shown after I had to release her for doing absolutely nothing in my case. To include I had a court hearing on a day she didn’t tell me about because she never called, emailed, or communicated it over to me, so I went anyway then the opposing party speaks up for her saying “Katie is not going to be here due to conflict” but told me absolutely nothing. But hey if you are looking for someone to misrepresent you, to sit and tell you of cases that she thinks are similar to yours, charge you for every single email of you asking about your case, and phone calls even if you call and say “Hey happy birthday” she is definitely the attorney to go with. I have all the proof, documentation, and everything to prove my defense, Katie Bates did not go through 1 piece of paper, never uploaded nothing in my defense, never got to speak in court, she just folded up in a corner and basically let the opposing party say whatever and do whatever like they are friends. She also has done another melanated lady this same way, put her so far in debt, never fended for her, and basically kept her in the blind signing things without the clients knowledge and agreed to things the client never agreed to as well. Katie Bates caused the relationship between me and my oldest autistic son to go down the drain by letting the opposing party get over on my son while I was pregnant, they let my autistic son write a false statement that I knew nothing about after he refused four times in the court room to go move with his father until being bribed with gifts and stories. So much was done behind my back and in the dark that it is a flat out shame.

    Steven Faul: I was told on December 3rd that my uncontested divorce would be finalized 45 days from then. Its now 63 days later and the papers were submitted to the judge this morning. The judge wont sign it for another 31 days. Making it a total of 94 days of an incompetent law office.The office paralegal sucks. She didnt call me to tell me I could sign. She didnt send my wife the papers even though she knew she no longer lives in Georgia. This office is only concerned about profit. If you want a lawyer that actually cares about you and your case, find someone else. If they cant handle a simple uncontested divorce, I sure wouldnt trust them with my freedom. Do not recommend.

    Angela Szabo: No one ever answers, when Nikki does shes rude and has no clue how to do her job. This can cost my spouse jail time for a misdemeanor. DA said charges were being dropped to my face in June and its been almost a year since his offense. Hinesville is too incompetent to handle bryan county. Disgusted!!!!

    Alexis Sandy: Jennifer is a money hungry person. She is happy to take on new cases without actually doing any work. My husband used her for meditation for his child and she took not only our money but his exs money. She made changes to their order and said she would file the modifications with the courts. Here we are a year later and nothing was filed. I strongly recommend going somewhere else. Jennifer was out of town or the office more times than she was in the office, hints my money hungry comment. Seems like she takes people hard earned money and spends it on vacations for herself. I dont care if she was recommend by your attorney, FIND SOMEONE ELSE TO HELP YOU! Everyone deserves better service and attention than what this lady promises and fails to give! I REPEAT GO SOMEWHERE ELSE DO NOT WASTE A PENNY ON THIS CROOK! EDIT: took a negative review to receive any type of contact. Either way money was not well spent and still highly dont recommend.
