1 /5 Troy W: I wanted to take a moment to share my experience regarding my recent interaction with your company. Initially, I was introduced to your services through my realtor, and things began well. However, as the process continued, I became increasingly dissatisfied with the level of professionalism displayed, which ultimately left me feeling disrespected.
During a conversation with Mrs. Wood, whom I believe is a manager, I explained that I was house shopping and interested in the GA Dream Program. I shared that I only required the 1% reduction in the interest rate and did not need assistance with closing costs or a down payment. As I gathered the necessary documents, I was informed by Mrs. Wood that I made too much money for the program. She based this conclusion on a job I had done in the Army last year, which I am no longer being compensated for, in addition to my primary job and drill pay as a Reservist. However, I understand that you cannot collect all of these at once.
The most concerning part of my experience occurred when I mentioned that, given the stress of the home-buying process, I was considering waiting until after my upcoming deployment. Mrs. Wood responded by abruptly hanging up the phone. I initially assumed it was a mistake, as disconnections happen, but I was at home using my Bluetooth headset with my phone on standby, and she was on a traditional office phone. There was no reason for the call to be terminated in such an unprofessional manner.
I informed my realtor about this, and he too was taken aback by her behavior, describing it as rude. As a result, I no longer feel comfortable recommending your services to my colleagues, particularly four fellow service members who could have benefited from the program. This situation has been both disappointing and frustrating, especially given that my initial interaction with your company seemed promising.
Thank you for your time and attention. I hope this feedback is taken seriously so that others do not have to endure a similar experience.
