Found another accountant. It was cheaper and more professional. Submitted my tax return on time.
My experience with this accountant was incredibly frustrating from start to finish. Communication was abysmal—after reaching out, I waited two full weeks with no response. When she finally did reply, it wasnt with an apology or an update, but instead a curt message saying her time is limited and she cant work with me.
Why bother engaging with potential clients at all if you have no intention of following through? A simple "no" up front would’ve saved me weeks of wasted time and uncertainty.
If you value professionalism, responsiveness, or even basic courtesy, I’d strongly recommend looking elsewhere. This was a textbook case of how not to treat clients.
