They got my charge reduced to something smaller and was just ordered to pay a fine I appreciate him for being very professional and understanding to me since I’m 17 and this could’ve went bad for me as in losing my license. We had a trash public defender who was obviously working with the state to railroad my husband. We hired Derek Law from Sexton & Moody. He got right on the case and was very knowledgeable about the laws. From the day he took the case, my husband did not have to say another word in court. He handled it. Our court date came and he presented the case and explained why the state could not charge him for a case that was already dismissed. The state tried to pull up some BS law and Derek shut it down. The judge ruled in our favor and the case was dismissed. I cant thank them enough. I would recommend this law firm. Now I will say one thing, they are very busy. Be patient with the return calls or emails. Other than that, I would recommend.
