5 /5 Elizabeth Scruggs: I didnt visit the one store in St. Simons Island but I visited the website after reading a wonderful book called Gogo. If you arent familiar she is an artist that grew up on Cumberland Island and takes her jewelry inspiration from nature. Her grandmother was Lucy Ferguson (Gogos last name also) who was a Carnegie. There is an amazing history between those two also but thats another story. Her jewelry is known world wide and is very unusual and expensive. There are a few things that are semi affordable. I own a pair of trumpet flower earrings. If you get the chance read the book. Ours came from the Atlanta Arts Museum at an exibition she did there. Look the store up and shop. Until you know the history its hard to appreciate but Im sure you can find the history online somewhere.
