As someone who had little experience with CrossFit, I was initially nervous about the intensity of the workouts and movements. However, the coaches are very attentive to everyone in class and consistently push us to become the best versions of ourselves. The workouts are thoughtfully designed to improve overall fitness—I noticed major progress after just a few classes. Overall, this is a wonderful community, and I would recommend them to anyone!

5 /5 Nick Shelton: Great CrossFit gym!!! Its a new facility that has plenty of space and equipment. The coaches are excellent. I been a member and visited other CrossFit boxes; Fit Augusta has been one of the best at teaching, warmups, and providing individual coaching. I joined in January, thinking Id do it for a couple of months to "stay in shape." Ive been hooked and look forward being a part of the community!

Danielle Rouse: This is by far my favorite crossfit gym Ive ever been to. Ive been to 4 different programs with many instructors. Typically, I hear that its all types of workouts, but they end up doing 90% clean amd jerks and snatches and few calisthenics movements. Crossfit 1209 is truly versatile, and accommodating to different strengths. As if that werent good enough, this is the most inviting environment out of any of the Crossfits. They dont make you feel like youre less of a person if you dont come out or need accommodating workouts. It is truly inviting to ALL people! Its very positive and other members are quick to encourage your progress along the way, not just at the gym but all aspects of life. Highly recommend, and love the people involved.

Athelite Academy - Grovetown

Billy Morris: All 3 boys have been receiving athletic training outside their respective coaches & teams since 2016. However, we all experienced “The Difference” this past week when we visited ATHELITE & Ryan Bowers. “The Difference” is in the Details. They were put thru a series of drills, most of them they had done before, but this time they were not just told to do it a certain way. Ryan explained the fundamentals...how they needed to do it, why this way worked, what the results would be as well as when & how the results would be realized, seen and measured. I was impressed by the fundamental corrections and immediate improvement in movements all 3 boys showed just from a couple of hours of assessment, dissection, correction, implementation and execution specifically tailored for each athlete’s physical/bio mechanical make up. Anyone can pluck workouts and drills from other camps, trainers or online and run athletes thru them like a PE class which will improve their physical conditioning. The question is are the Good athletes becoming Great athletes?!?! What separates the Good Athletes from the Great Athletes??? It is the attention to detail!!! The attention to the details is what separates the Great from the Good and is what will set you apart from the crowd...make you stand out and shine!!! The attention to detail & commitment that Ryan and his staff puts into each athlete at ATHELITE is truly what makes “THE DIFFERENCE”!!! Gracie Gaxn: The venue is clean and has a great vibe to it. The instructor Andrea I believe is like the GOAT lol she was able to navigate the class according to class skill. It was fun. It was sexy. It was comfortable which breeds confidence and I love this place. I am very funny about going out to things and being around people I don’t know and one of the first things she did was make sure we were not dancing with strangers. It is a very good environment to experience pole dancing. OH and she worked us out too!! Not to heavily just enough to let your body know to wake up! I will be returning and they will see me a lot more. It you have been thinking about taking classes GO TO THE DR3AM STUDIO!!! Else your missing out!

Chae Chang: Joining CrossFit Stars and Bars was a truly pivotal moment in my life. After having my first child in my 30s, I wasn’t in the best health when I started CrossFit. Over the course of more than a year of training here, my body became significantly healthier, and my life underwent a complete transformation. Every coach at this gym is professional, kind, and gave me the courage to keep going. Sadly, I had to move away and leave this community, but I will always miss the coaches and the amazing people I met here. I’m so grateful to everyone—thank you!

Carol: I enjoy exercising at the Y. The instructors are, great, kind, and will go the extra mile to make sure you are doing everything correct. The facility is clean, staff are friendly, and professional. I would highly recommend the Y on South side. We dont have a pool but thats okay. The exercise equipment is good and clean workout classrooms and clean as well.
