Eukelade Belmonte: Someone called me at 8:22 AM on a Saturday, waking me out of my sleep to discuss a loan application. I spoke to her for maybe about five minutes before she suddenly said she’d have to call me right back. I sat by the phone for about 25/30 minutes before finally calling back myself just to be told, “she was tied up right now, could no longer look at my application today, and would call me back Monday.” I find that unprofessional on so many levels. Firstly, why would you even call me if you didn’t have time to complete what you called me for? I could’ve stayed asleep. Then they couldn’t even inform me that it was going to be a couple days before they could get back to me, I had to call them back and be dismissed.
