Truist - Marietta Gabriel Thomas: I hate having to do this, especially since my issue is with Truist. They just changed names this weekend, 2/18. I come the following Tuesday, today, and attempt to cash my check as I have done for about 3 years. Never an issue. Until the merger. Suddenly they cant explain why i, a customer of SunTrust for over 15 years, and 5 years at this particular location, am unable to cash my check with my ID and debit card. No explanation? For a customer of almost 2 decades. What a great way to start off a new bank. It seems they cleared out the old crew, so anyone I speak with is going to be brand new. Its pretty disappointing and annoying. I mean, is it impossible to check the account for funds, like has always been done? Weird, how with the implementation of better tech, somehow they lack services they had before.
