Any time I e-mailed with questions concerning my case, someone from the group would get back with me within 12 hours at the most, and usually much quicker than that. Jason seems to be a man of integrity who cares deeply about the people who come to him for help. He is compassionate and really does go above and beyond to help his clients. He also seems to have a solid relationship with the judicial system. Because of his expertise and hard work, he was able to obtain an outcome for my case that was truly miraculous.

    MA: Waits last minute. Day before hearing and didnt know my case. Was 1 of 3 he had the following day. Helpful staff member no longer was there when requested copy of paperwork and they couldnt find my file. Unable or unwilling to do anything that required real work. Even stated no qualified to appeal further than basic level. I had to call to find out instead of them letting me know as soon as ruling was sent to them. Wouldnt recommend sadly and very disappointed.

    Austin-Anderson Iesha: When you think of the "victim advocate" you believe that this title indicates someone, who is fighting on behalf of the victim. Someone supportive, empathetic and positive. My experience with the victim advocates in Douglas County has been completely the opposite. I have only been met with abrasiveness. The empathy is non-existent. I was a victim of domestic violence and the individual is still contacting me. I have done everything within my power to make it stop and been met with roadblocks. The people that are supposed to help me deal with the situation are always rude and no sympathy is ever shown. I wish that being an "advocate" really means your helping others bc at this point, I feel like there is no help for me out there.
