michele walker: Robert Wallace is a nice man and has been an excellent agent for over 12 years, but the company behind him has been pretty bad on the few occasions they were needed. My husband totaled his truck and pull-behind trailer about 4 years ago in an accident (faulty new tire exploded) that didnt kill him or involve others only because of his incredible driving skills. His claim filed with Allstate went on for months and was a battle neither of us had time for. It was very confusing, to say the least. The claim was broken into three parts for the truck, the trailer, and the contents of the trailer. That wouldnt have been too difficult to keep up with, except they kept changing the people we were dealing with and none were particularly informed with the details needed to pay the claims. The amounts offered for the damages in all three categories were unreasonably low, but nobody was willing to look at the truck, trailer, or contents to verify the validity of the amounts my husband was requesting. He had taken many pictures of the accident scene showing damaged trailer contents strewn on the highway and in the median, the damage to the truck, and the damage to the trailer, but nobody was interested in looking at them. My problem with Allstate was with their roadside assistance, something I canceled a few years ago because it was worthless. One incident involved a flat tire on the way home from grocery shopping. I called for help. The woman said she would call me back when she had made arrangements for someone to come help me. A half hour later she called to tell me no one was coming. My husband was out of town on business so was unable to change the tire. As it was getting dark, a nice man stopped and put the spare tire on for me. Another time, when I was driving our older work truck, a tire exploded and I nearly ran into a telephone pole. I repeatedly called for help but either got a useless computer voice message or no answer at all. I had to call a cab and leave the truck on the side of the road for the night. Weve never filed a claim with our home insurance, yet the rate goes up by a couple hundred dollars almost every year. I cant say if another insurance company would be any better, but I do know State Farm is worse based on my experiences after hurricanes Charlie, France, and Jeanne.
David Hand - State Farm Insurance Agent - Waycross
Corey Mikell: I have tried a few different insurance companies in the past, but I’m so glad I switched over to State Farm with Mr. David Hand! No one likes to pay for insurance of course, but it sure makes it a lot better when you have a great agent! Not only is Mr. David great, but I can say nothing but great things about his staff! There has been several occasions where I have needed to use my insurance policy and Mr. David and his staff have worked diligently to get things handled. I have 10 different policies with them, because they work with me to get the most coverage for my money without breaking the bank. If you’re looking for a good insurance company I highly recommend them! They work with you and for you no hassle, no fuss and that’s well worth the money itself!
