    Carly Egrie: I was in town for a business conference and found the Refinery online. They offered a free 2 day pass which was awesome. As soon as you walk in, youre greeted by friendly staff that answered all my questions and showed me around. The gym itself is beautiful. They have plenty of equipment and floor space for mobility work or any mat work. I even got to take advantage of the outdoor space for a workout, which was awesome. If I lived in Atlanta, Id join here!

    Miracle: I went into Planet fitness last week with my sister. The general manager was there. I told him that my phone is currently 0 percent and I would like to provide my phone number to get in. He said, I cannot do that. I said, what so many people have allowed me to give my phone number. He said they were not supposed to. I said I have been coming to planet fitness for over 5 years, and I have never had a issue providing my phone number to gain access to the facility. Then he said, I will need to see your ID I said thats fine. I told him that my nickname is on file. He said the name on the ID has to match the name on file, I said what? I am telling you its my nick name but the last name matches my ID. Then he said, I cannot let you in. I said why? He said because I cannot. Then I asked him to print out the policy stating a nickname cannot be on file, and that me and my guest are required to present an ID. He printed out the policy, and it does not state that a nickname cannot be on file. I said can you cancel my account, he said I can cancel the account but you cannot get a refund. So you are willing to cancel the account, but not allow me to come in? He then said you are not allowed to come into this planet fitness anymore then he called security. I was having a simple conversation with him and he got very aggressive. We decided to be the bigger people and left. As we were leaving the building security and the General manager ran after us. Security said I would like to talk to you, I said, no we are leaving have a good day. We left the building and they followed us out. I said to security please stop following us, they proceeded. I said please stop following us, they proceed to follow us. I said please stop following us, they proceeded to follow us and at this point my sister was yelling help the entire time as they continued to follow us. Then I said, this is harassment please stop, they kept going. I said, this is harassment please stop I cannot hear you, I just want you to stop. They kept following us. Then the general manager looked at security and told him lets go. This happened outside and as my sister was yelling help a bystander walked passed and said are you guys okay. If someone can please give me corporate contact information I will greatly appreciate it. I will be posting the video of this harassment on all social media platforms across the board. The general manager should be fired for the way he conducted himself.

    Ryan Robertson: This gym has been known for a long time to be run down and nasty for many years. Decided to give it another shot because reviews mentioned a “renovation”. Let me be perfectly clear. THIS GYM WAS NOT RENOVATED. It is still in the same condition it was in 10 years ago. Yes they put in an astroturf. Wow, great - the rest of the gym is awful. Everything is worn down, from the machines to the flooring and especially the locker room. You can tell nothing is cleaned regularly. Men’s locker room is completely destroyed. Many of the lockers are broken, missing, or smashed. Sauna is “under repair” which is code for “not reopening”. The second you walk in you’re hit with a stench that permeates throughout the whole gym. I’ve been to this gym three times since I rejoined. All three times I walked out. Committing to two months to this gym was the biggest waste of money. I joined another gym and considered my membership here a loss. There are a few more nicer gyms in Midtown - please look into ANY option but this LA Fitness.

    Tyler: That was, without question, the most disgusting bathroom/lockeroom Ive ever set foot in in my entire life. Absolutely reeked of urine. Floors and tile were filthy. Equipment was all very old and entire free weight area was super cramped. Is there great eye candy, sure, but the gym itself is a total total dump. Needs a total remodel.

    Crystal (Crystal D.): Elevate Fitness is a solid gym — clean, safe, and convenient. I train with Julius (Temple Builder PT) and see Von (Prime Time Fitness GA) working with clients too. Great place and great people!

    Marissa M.: Members Elite is an absolute hidden gym. The classes are intimate and the trainers really care about your health and fitness. My personal favorite is Motivation Mondays every week at 7pm. The trainer Josh is encouraging yet firm and makes sure you get through the workout (they do be a lil tough). I lost 30lbs in six months working out with him.

    Nabil A: Been to a few classes here and they’ve all been great. Layout is fun and engaging. Instructions are motivating. They added new equipment recently for more variety of exercises. Everything is clean. Bonus: they offer ear plugs if the music is too loud for you (which I utilized).

    J W: Ive seen tons of gyms through powerlifting and was impressed with Carbon during their open house event. The range of equipment is incredible and facilities top tier. Especially love Texas Power bars used all throughout the gym. Atlanta needed a place like this. Shout out to Megan for giving a great tour! Had a blast taking photos of the space.

    Shalonda Michelle Daniels I Personal Account: This by far is my favorite LA Fitness in the city. I am thankful to all the staff especially Ms.Jackie for keeping the facilities clean for all the members. She really takes pride in her job & we are grateful to have her at this location. Her warm welcoming & positive attitude gives me the extra boost to complete my workout.
