1 /5 hitesh pambhar: This people should not allowed to be in business. 75+ days since I lost the car coz of their client, they still did not paid the money, that is less than worth of my car. Rental was only 2 weeks...that was their COURTESY not my right!! No one ever answer the phone calls/voice mails and barely reply to email with 1 to 10 ratio! No body started working on my claim for whole entire 1 month, and I had to rent and pay on my own. They dont understand the close loop communication. Insurance adjuster replies when you ask why money is not deposited.....SHE SAID...I DON"T KNOW WHERE DISCONNECT IS!!!! Really......???!! you are working in the company, responsible for the claim, and this kind of illerterae, irresponsible and pathatic reply??!! This reply should be good enough to fire someone, who dont communicate with client for weeks and months!!! In general, this complaint is for the Governing bodies rather than the company itself, who have allowed these people to sell the policies....This is totally un acceptable way of business!! They know what they are suppose to do and not doing! People are buying from them probably for the cheaper cost! Victims are like me, who lost the car, no rental, no money for this long!!

1 /5 Rapheal Solomon: Make sure to document every interaction you have with, since you’ll need it when you file with the Better Business Bureau due to their horrible business practices. You will never be able to reach anyone and they will always be “out of the office”. Especially if you are a claimant. I don’t know how this is legal.

1 /5 Curtis Hagy: This has seriously got to be the worst insurance company in America. As a licensed Electrical Contractor in East TN I gave these jokers three years to get their act together. Every year at audit time they would mess up by using the wrong WC information that they pulled from a year or two before and I would owed an absorbent amount of money for renewal. First time I let it go and ask them them to increase my premium to offset it. Second time it happened I was angry and I was told it was fixed. Last year in 2024 it happened a third time and I refused to pay that huge amount and ask to set up payments. Unbelievably difficult to get a hold of and that’s evident in the other reviews. I’m out Berkley! Do better!!!

1 /5 Cam Lawrence: Started a claim 2 weeks ago. The insured is clearly at fault yet they refuse to return my phone calls, or even call me to start a claim. Every time I call in, they ask the same questions as the last time. This is pathetic and praetorial. Piss poor business practices from a shady company

1 /5 B L (Trey): Reported a claim to them on 10/4/24 and have not heard anyrhing at all from them. Luke Kelly does not respond to any messages. My car was involved in accident where their insured truck driver was at fault. Next step is BBB. They should be shut down.
