1 /5 Chris Holland: I am a Realtor, who was selling my personal home. We used her for one of my closings in Rockmart, GA. Months prior to my closing, I had an auto accident, which was not my fault. She tried to say I owed a lien and wanted to take out 13k or so off my proceeds. I knew she was wrong on this, and I tried to explain it to her. I had to get my accident attorney involved and he point blank told her she was wrong. She admitted it, but still wanted to take out the funds. Long story short, she didnt take out the funds, and we closed. During this time, she was very rude to my attorney and his staff over the phone.
I had issues from the beginning when trying to set a closing date with her staff at the office. They stated they have not received any information from the lender. I told her that even though we didn’t have the closing package yet, we still could set the closing day/time. We already knew we were closing on that day per the contract. If something happened and we did have a delay, we could adjust if needed. We just needed to have something on the schedule. I had to speak to Vickey because her receptionist did not want to schedule my appointment. I explained the same thing to her, and she finally set the appointment.
In my opinion, Vickey did not like that I was persistent in getting my home closed in a timely manner. I told her to her face she was very rude and unprofessional. I would never use her again or recommend my clients to use her as well. It was a horrible experience working with Atkins Law, P.C., Vickey R. Atkins
