Kim Thompson Very reasonable rates. The only thing I dont like is the make you come all the way to theyre office to sign papers or bring stuff in instead of using emails or fax . Its very inconvenient because Im out if town a lot and Ive had to cut my other business shirt several times to go in and sign stuff. They need to get up to speed with the changing times.

Persnickety Designs I am appalled at the lack of engagement after our daughter was hit by a driver on vacation in Florida. Dana Kerr’s State Farm refused to even call back on the threat that if they helped or did anything to get a decent amount to replace their car he would open a claim and it would go on their record and raise their rates. Would not even return a call to speak to her or her husband. No help or advice in working with the manipulation of the other insurance company. No, hope you are ok, how can I help, let me help you work with them. Do not do business with Dana Kerr!! Find a caring reputable company and agent to work with for your insurance needs.

Jeff Dawson This office is fantastic. On several occasions their amazing customer service got me out of a pinch. One time in Canada, a car rental company refused me a rental until I showed them a specific form from State Farm proving coverage in Canada. I was running very late to an important event. So I made a call to Gary Garretts office and explained the situation. Moments later they emailed me the specific form with my name, policy number and other information on it. There were a number of occasions like that where they were extremely quick and responsive...and always so nice and friendly. Im really glad I went with them for auto and renters insurance during my time in Athens, GA.

Lee Porterfield This place canceled my policy after having it for years because they said something about it was zoned for agriculture not a home but what it actually was is I had zoned the house and two acres for residential and the other 20 something acres that joined the home was zoned for agriculture and this was done a decade before I got the house insured with these people and it was fine then??? So when I got the notice that they would be canceling my policy I called them to discuss this facts but they wouldnt have any of my explanation they said that I had to go to the tax office and get proof???? Which is weird as those records are public and they could have pulled it up their self? In any case Covid hit before I could get back up there(I live in a different city) so there were shut down so by the time the quarantine was over my policy had been canceled and they will not even meet with me in person face to face they just refuse to see me and they stopped taking my calls about it? So very unprofessional on many levels and I couldnt get coverage again due to laps in service??? I would stay far away from this business they are awful in so many ways. And I never write bad reviews as mom told me if you do have anything nice to say best to not say anything but I had to put this truth out there to help inform others of there incompetence and unprofessional behavior.
