S Mora I visited this location on February 25, 2025 Before visiting, I called to confirm whether they offer teeth bonding and was told they do. However, my experience at this office was disappointing from the start. Upon arrival, I was unimpressed by the receptionist’s attitude. A young Caucasian woman with a nose ring barely acknowledged me and acted as if she couldn’t care less about my presence. The lab technician I met with was the one bright spot—she was kind, professional, and attentive. Unfortunately, my experience with Dr. Jongbin Wie was the complete opposite. His bedside manner was non-existent, and he was rough during the examination. I clearly and repeatedly explained that I was interested in teeth bonding and needed two missing teeth replaced. I have had bonding done elsewhere without issue, but at this office, the focus seemed to be on upselling the most expensive option—porcelain veneers. Despite me stating that veneers were not within my budget, Dr. Wie continued pushing them, even falsely claiming that bonding only lasts about a week. I know from personal experience that this is simply not true. It became clear to me that Dr. Wie is more concerned with maximizing profits than providing quality dental care. When I firmly insisted on bonding, his dismissive response made it clear he had no interest in accommodating my request. I would not recommend this office to anyone looking for patient-centered care.

Jackie Parks Honestly, I was very hesitant to go here as a new patient because of all the negative reviews, but Im so glad I went. The dentist, Dr. Craig, actually came out (on time) to the lobby to greet me, then escorted me back to the X-Ray office, where I met Magdelena, the dental assistant who did all the x-rays. She was thoroughly professional, amazingly efficient and really nice. I loved the fact that she explained everything that she was doing. She then escorted me to the examination office, where Dr. Craig rejoined us. He did a super thorough exam and , again, explained everything he was doing. I love the fact that the monitor is in the room so they can pull up all the x-rays and pictures and actually point out things to the patient while explaining. I decided to go ahead with the treatment plan and they were able to squeeze me in that same day because there had been a cancellation. Even the billing lady came in and was very clear in presenting my options ---no upselling pressure! The hygienist came in to finish up with a thorough cleaning. She was very knowledgeable and friendly and gave me some great recommendations. Overall, everyone I encountered on this visit (Receptionist, dentist, dental assistant, hygienist and billing lady) were friendly, helpful, very knowledgeable, and technically proficient. I am definitely making this my new dental office!

Shae Chisman The staff at Smile orthodontics are some of the most kind people I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting! They accommodated me when I accidently went to the wrong location. They were so sweet to my little 5 year old while doing diagnostics. Highly recommend!

Tiki Blanchette The front desk staff were very helpful and friendly. Support staff was able to accomplish getting an IV for general anesthesia for my son whose veins are very difficult to access on the first try. Both of my children have had wisdom teeth extractions at Dr. Carey’s office and he and his staff are second to none. Pain and discomfort have been minimal with both kids and healing time is quick. Thank you for all that you do!

A Blacknell This was my 2nd implant with Dr. Carey. He is professional and makes sure you are comfortable with your choices. He was not in my network but I returned to him because I had confidence in the work he does. His staff were all WONDERFUL from the front desk to those who assisted on the day of my surgery.

Quin Tindle Dr. Carey and Savannah did a wonderful job making sure my wisdom tooth surgery experience was as good as it could have been! I had some complications with getting an IV and the surgery had to be done under local anesthetic, which initially freaked me out a little bit, but the two of them did a wonderful job talking me through the whole thing and making sure I was calm and prepared for the whole surgery. Overall I could not imagine two better individuals to have helped me through that process! 10/10 would recommend!

Keith McNeal I have been seeing Dr. Swords for years and wouldn’t think of going any where else for my dental work. The staff has always been super friendly and professional from the minute you arrive until you leave. You can tell they take great pride in customer service, as well as up to date knowledge and care.

The Red or Blue Pill Great dentists and hygentists. I always use Stacy as my hygentists. Just got my wisdom teeth removed and they made sure to take their time as it was a three hour operation due to likelihood of potential damage. Everything is healed up and back to normal 9 days later. They always do an amazing job and very welcoming!

Rick Allen Ive been using this practice since they moved to their present location. Ive also literally been seen by every one of their practitioners. In all that time Ive never had a less than positive experience and always have a positive outcome. Everyone from the front office staff, to the dental assistants to the practitioners, are friendly, professional, and a pleasure to deal with. A genuine treasure of a dental practice.

Brian Michael Walters I have to start this review with a forward statement; no one hates dentists more than me. However, after reading reviews on Llyod family Dentistry and about Dr Cox specifically, I had to give them a shot. Did I mention I’m a procrastinator yet? No? Probably because i procrastinated. I once waited 17 years to put a crown on a root canal. That said, I had another root canal done two years ago and it just chipped. Not wanting to lose the tooth I went to Lloyd to have Dr Cox put a crown on it. I’ve never been more relaxed in a dentist office ever in my life. The staff was polite and Dr Cox wasn’t a heavy handed maniac with a drill. He was gentle with his hands and informative when it came to telling me what’s needed and what to expect. Super long winded, I know, but absolutely necessary. Book the appointment. You’ll be glad you did.

Allan Barnett Just about the best experience I can remember having going to the dentist. Staff was very friendly. My appointment was at 3 p.m. and they called me back at 3 p.m. My hygienist Rachael was extremely nice and performed all of her dental duties while causing no discomfort to me. They used a couple of different methods to clean and polish my teeth that I had not experienced before and they were both more pleasant and easier on the mouth than my previous dentist. Dr. Lloyd explained everything to me in easy to understand terms and thoroughly answered all of my questions. I highly recommend Lloyd Family Dental and truly appreciated the fine care they provided to my wife and I today.

Megan Amodio We took our very anxious 4 year old son to have what we thought was just a filling. Turned out to be a few fillings, an extraction and a spacer. Dr. Kristen was AMAZING with him. She took the time to engage him in conversation, didn’t discuss anything that could be scary in front of him and had so much patience and grace with him. She made the experience great for him and us and now he says he would go back to the dentist any day. Definitely recommend Dr. Kristen, we will be going back to her for all future kid treatments!

Michelle Ross Dr. Carey removed my 17 year old daughter’s wisdom teeth 3 days ago. Everything went perfectly as planned. We met Dr. Carey for the initial consult and he was extremely personable and spoke directly to my daughter explaining everything to her and making sure her questions were answered. We came back for the surgery as scheduled and everything went perfect! She really had no pain, she followed his assistants detailed post op instructions and is doing fabulous! I highly recommend Dr. Carey and his staff! Beautiful, clean office too!

His front staff was good at explaining the financial aspect and the back office did great with his instructions and taking care of him after his procedure. I really like Dr. Carey and his staff. Dr. Trotter (pediatric dentist) and Dr. Patel (orthodontist) have created a warm, family-friendly environment that actually makes going to the dentist fun for kids. We had an early appointment and Dr. Patel even held a team huddle before we arrived to make sure we were out in time for my sons school milestone testing. The second we walked in, it was all hands on deck — X-rays and cleanings for all three of my kids done efficiently and with care. What really sets them apart is how well they listen to and partner with parents. At a previous (and very popular) dental practice, I asked if we could delay X-rays by six months for one of my children, based on guidance from the American Dental Association, which states that children between ages 1–5 with low risk may only need X-rays every 12–24 months. Unfortunately, instead of having a conversation, the office became dismissive. Our appointment was canceled, and we were told the practice was not the right fit for our family — all because I asked a question and wanted to be involved in my child’s care. Dr. Trotter and Dr. Patel, on the other hand, are everything we were looking for — respectful, open, and collaborative. Dr. Patel also provided a thoughtful second opinion after a previous orthodontist gave us a very aggressive treatment plan. He recommended we take a conservative approach and let nature take its course — and he was right! A tooth we were told was anchored to the bone actually came out naturally over time and we are now ready for braces without feeling pressured to move quickly. And their sweet goldendoodle, Penny, roams the office saying hi to the kids — such a comforting and fun touch. The whole office feels like a small, family-run practice, and everyone is kind, warm, and welcoming. We’re so grateful we found them!

Rey A I have 3 kids my oldest got her braces somewhere else 8 years ago but my son has been coming to this office since November 2017. Every time you walk in you are welcome they make you feel like a family. I couldn’t not ask for more the location is perfect for all teens attending CMS and CVH. Dr. Patel is an awesome orthodontist very knowledgeable and caring for his patients. As a parent I highly recommend this practice the staff here is amazing.

Amy Krumrey Dr Swords and Phelps is an awesome dentistry group. They are quick yet thorough. They do not suggest any extra treatments unless necessary. In other words you are not going to get the $5,000 veneer package brought up unless its you doing the asking. The office staff is super friendly and inviting. The entire office makes going to the dentist a pleasant experience.

Matthew and John Phelps have been wonderful. They have been very understanding about my fears, and explain everything in great detail. I feel good about my dental care and grateful that they even offer sedation dentistry. The staff has always been very helpful and accommodating as well. I am thrilled to have found Swords and Phelps Dentistry and cant recommend them highly enough.
